My story
Hi, I’m Dhruti (pronounced ‘Droo-Tee). Certified ADHD Coach, Accredited Life Coach, and late diagnosed mega Inattentive ADHDer.
Life had always felt like I was trying to cross the ocean in a kayak without a paddle - I was staying afloat, but couldn’t move in any particular direction no matter how hard I tried.
I struggled with things that seemed to be so easy for others, things may have looked fine on the outside, but inside me was a relentless swirl of chaos, insecurity, and a feeling of being lost.

Diagnosis and everything clicking into place

Disorganised, forgetful, always late, socially awkward, unfocused, ‘too emotional’, feeling kind of different to others and then trying even harder to fit in.
Googling “signs of early onset dementia” more often than I want to admit - looking back now, I had no idea how bad things actually were.
I had masked my way through life, until the bubble finally burst - at the ripe ol’ age of 36, I found out that I have Inattentive ADHD, and slowly, my whole life started to make sense.
Since then, I’ve immersed myself into the world of ADHD, added specialised training, had coaching myself, read and talked and listened in order to learn as much as I can… and the single, most life-changing thing I keep coming back to, is that fighting against the way your brain wants to function will always hold you hostage in that hopeless and frustrating place.
Since figuring out how to work with my inner chaos, my life has become infinitely more peaceful, and for the first time in forever, things don’t feel so relentlessly hard - I got the paddle to my kayak!
Why I became a coach
Training as a Life Coach in 2021 is one of my favourite decisions.
It means I get to create a space where people feel safe enough to take a breath and drop the mask they have to wear to survive in society, a moment of respite from pretending everything is okay so they can focus more clearly on what they want, an opportunity to reconnect with who they are, and encouragement to actively choose their future.
The part where people start to believe in their own ability to move forward is a feeling I wish I could bottle! Essentially - I’m making the space that I truly wish I’d had many years ago.

What I do now
I think it’s safe to say that I absolutely bloody love coaching, not only have I been part of some incredibly transformative processes for others.
I’ve personally experienced how life-changing it can be for someone with ADHD when they are coached specifically through that lens, and now I’m on a mission to help as many people as I can.
